Cost depends largely on the number of pages on your website and the complexity of those pages.

A basic site containing pages with text and a few images will cost £25.00 per page.

Factors that would increase this cost are:

• a guest book
• a forum
• multimedia
• custom graphics or logos
• text in longhand that has to be typed and proofread.
• images provided as photographs that have to be scanned

Your website will be stored on a host server. This service can be provided by many different companies. Around £30.00 - £50.00 per annum is a typical price for this kind of service.

The name of this website is registered to me through Nominet, the internet registry for the UK.

A name registered directly through Nominet will cost £80.00 per annum. Most people, however, register their site names through the company they store their website with. Typically, this reduces the cost to around £5.00 per annum. This figure can be more or less, depending on the domain you choose.
